3. Endotracheal tube oxygen therapy.
It is an oxygenation method that is inserted into the trachea through the nasal passage with a narrow catheter, also known as endotracheal oxygen therapy.It is mainly suitable for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and pulmonary interstitial fibrosis etc. Chronic respiratory failure requires long-term oxygen inhalation and general oxygen therapy ineffective.Because of the direct supply of oxygen to the trachea by catheter, it can significantly improve the therapeutic effect. Only the low flow oxygen supply can achieve a high effect, and the oxygen consumption is small.
4. Electronic pulse oxygen therapy.
It is a new method developed in recent years. It can automatically deliver oxygen during the inhalation period via electronic pulse device, while the expiration date automatically stops the oxygen delivery.This is more in line with the physiological state of the breath, and it saves a lot of oxygen.Suitable for nasal obstruction, nasal catheter and oxygen therapy.
5. Mechanical ventilation to oxygen method.
When mechanical ventilation is carried out with various artificial respiration machines, oxygen therapy is carried out on the oxygen apparatus on the ventilator.The concentration can be adjusted according to the condition.The oxygen source of oxygen therapy is usually multi-purpose oxygen cylinder, and equipped with the pressure gauge to indicate the oxygen content in the bottle, the installation flow meter for oxygen, and adjust the oxygen flow according to the need.Most hospitals now use centers for oxygen, and the switch is on the wall, which is more convenient.
